Does anybody know if I put a Pioneer's DVR-A05 DVD burner (it is the superdrive isn't it!) in my old dual 500mhz G4 will iDVD work with it? ;)

It should work. It is an IDE drive, and the only issues Apple has is if you use a drive that IS NOT Apple approved. I think you should be fine. But then again, I'm a newbie switcher :)

Welcome aboard, by the way!

I thought only Apple authorized DVD burners worked with iDVD. Did they change this because of all the hype?
