Dear Mac-Forum Users,
I bought this MacBook Pro around this time last year. I don't really use it a lot since I got it mainly for university only and I use a Vaio hooked up to a Samsung 25" screen as my main computer for gaming, movies, etc.
Anyway, this notebook is in perfect condition and I pretty much take good care of it because my last MacBook Pro (2008) died on me. It is Apple's fault because they shipped the early 2008 models with a faulty GeForce 8600M GT graphics card, however, admittedly, I didn't take good care of it.
ANYWAY, to the my original point, I fired up the notebook around an hour or so ago in order to watch a movie and then browse the internet. As soon as I was done with the movie and was browsing (Google Chrome), this showed up and the computer totally froze:
In case it isn't very clear, this is what it says (in several languages): "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button until it turns off, then press the Power button again."
I don't understand the problem. I followed the instructions and successfully restarted then got the error message. I reported it and this is the error's code (or whatever you call it):
I'm sorry about this post being so long, and it's definitely because of the error code/message.
Can you guys tell me why this happened? I'm afraid there might be something wrong with my computer and now would be a good time to send it to Apple before my warranty expires, if it hasn't already.
