Hi all,
I have a 200gb Firewire HDD that is partitioned into 4 drives. When i connect it up all four drives show up on the desktop.
Is there a way to stop any of these four partitions from mounting? One of the partitions is used very rarely and i would rather not have it cluttering up my desktop. If i drag it to the trash can it ejects all the other partitions too!
Also as my Ipod dock is connected to the firewire drive the Ipod also mounts when i connect it up which is a pain as it stops the ipod playing as soon as it does. Can i mount and eject the ipod manually?
