Hi,
I am new to this forum.
After 30 years on Windows, I decided to switch to Mac.
I bought a macbook pro one month ago, and I am experiencing regular wifi interruptions with it, specially (but not only) when using video applications (goto meeting, skype in multi party conference mode, video streaming).
I have tried different tricks, but no improvement so far.
My son who also has a mac pro is not experiencing any problem at all (using the same router).
I cannot imagine I will have to connect with a cable!!!
Thanks for any hints.

Who's broadband/WiFi are you using? If BT, are you on Infinity or using a HomeHub 4 or 5? If so, you could have a bit of dual-band problems that I had. Get back to me.

I read recently that moving to El Capitan may resolve the issue.
Which I will do next week end.

Be careful with going up to El-Captan as some newer, non Mac programs won't work with it. As I asked before, which broadband/equipment are you using? There are issues between mac and BT Home Hub 4/5 dual band WiFi systems which I have ow resolved with my MBP without going up to El-Captan.
