Hi, i recently bought an iBook G3 snow from ebay, and i upgraded the OS to 10.4.11 from 10.4.5, and as soon as it was finished installing, it restarted once , then seemed to fail and restarted again. The second chime was insanely tinny, fuzzy sounding, and loud, as were all the other sounds coming out of the speakers after it rebooted. This even happened through my headphones when they were plugged in. Could this be a bad install of the OS, or (as suggested in the Apple Notebooks subforum) could it be my logic board failing, (which would definitely suck)? Thanks, Justin.
