Hi all : )

All is in the title : it's possible to manage the file by names, kinds,... but I would like to know if it's possible to sort files randomly in the finder. It would help me a lot for a specific task

I'm running snow Leopard on a macbook pro

Thank you if you find any ideas : )

I don't think there is a sort as random function but you can choose to have no sorting and then manually move everything around randomly.

To do that in Icon View, you might want it set to Snap to Grid. Otherwise, you could end up with things hiding other things more often. STG won't prevent that, but can limit it.
