I have hotmail my wife gmail. some of my friends emails go to my wifes address and not mine, not all just some. I have sent emails to these friends with my address but this still occurs. I have an Imac desktop with yosemite. Any ideas?

I know it's a long shot but have you asked your friends if by chance your wife's address is not on their outgoing address as CC? Or, maybe some of your friends are using a group address which also includes your wife's along with yours?

I can see why this would be a BIG problem. ESPECIALLY when exchanging emails with the "girlfriend". Which of course we wouldn't want the wife to see!
