Software for video viewing my Mac to Windows tablet

Skype is the only software I am aware of that will allow me to talk and view Video with my daughter 2900 miles away. Is there a preferred program I should use instead, knowing I will be dealing with a Windows computer or tablet on the other end?

Nope. That's pretty much it without spending a ton of money. It's a pity she doesn't use a Mac or iPad, FaceTime is in my view FAR superior but I appreciate Skype's versatility (I mostly use Skype for audio calls, finding video calls unacceptably blocky).

@Bill Gates Jr. I read your post. And I have different thinking. Though I am using Viber to make audio/video call as well. You can try!
