So I need a new SuperDrive

2006 17" imac - and this is what I get when I try to burn two different brands of DVD.... one is a DVDrw the other is just a normal DVD.

Silver M1 iMac 512/16/8/8 macOS 11.6
Maybe not - just use quality media the iMac likes as the problem perhaps is with the disc. Suggest trying Verbatim before outlaying on a new Superdrive.

It didn't work with Sony or Memorex.
