Cmd+Shift+3 takes an entire screenshot and Cmd+Shift+4 then tap "Spacebar" will allow you to capture only the window your mouse is hovering over. Do you mean that when you hit Cmd+Shift+4 you don't get the crosshairs? If nothing is happening, I'm not sure what's wrong because I don't think you can disable that feature.- ImageX</blockquote>
