Welcome to our forums Melissa.

Four things stand out (aside from not having enough memory):

1. You have installed "Genieo" (It's malware.)

2. You have installed "Mackeeper" (It's malware.)

3. You have other "adware" installed.

4. You have a Kickstarter plugin.

All the above are things that can and will slow down your Mac. My advice is to wipe your 2010 MacBook Pro clean, reinstall OS X and start over. Preserve whatever data and applications that you can. Making a backup will only backup the malware and adware in addtion to your other data.

If you need more help with any of this, please post back.

Also, only 2gb ram, could be another part of the issues, which you did not mention.

I agree with the others, starting with a clean install will help, just make sure you have a good backup of all your important data.

The shortage of memory was noted in my reply to Melissa. Take note of the first line of my reply to her:

You do need to do an erase of the hard drive to rid yourself of all that junk and crapware, and a clean install of an operating system. What, if any, operating systems do you have on hand? Do you have the original OS X.5 Snow Leopard DVD that came with the machine when new?
