Skype on 4s

I have installed the latest Skype on my 4s, everything appears to be there, all my contacts etc, but nothing happens when someone calls me, it doesn't "go off", ring or whatever and I keep missing calls. Is this a known issue or haven't I done something I should?

It should work as advertised if your 4S meets the Skype system requirements for an iPhone:

Skype for iPhone

iOS 7 or above.

This version works on iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S and iPod touch 5th Generation.

For users with iOS 5 or 6, Skype 4.17 for iPhone is available for download in the App Store.

Yes my iPhone is running IOS 7.1.2 - I have no idea which version os Skype I have, but I'll recheck the store.
Just uninstalled and re installed from App store and this is version 5.6 - updated 14 Oct 2014 so should be ok. I'll have to wait until someone called me!
