Skips track when uploading

When I up load music to iTunes it skips tracks it will load 1 2 and skip 3 and 6 how can I fix this problem.

Are all the tracks on this CD checked (ie a checkmark beside the song name) when you import it? Is this a "real" audio CD or a pirated/fake/homeburned CD? Are all the songs in the same file format (as they would be on a "real" CD)?
