I just sold my 3gs and will be using a 3g until i can get the new 4s. My question is that since im just renewing my contract should i go through ATT instead of Apple when it comes to buying the phone? I dont want to lose my unlimited data plan and pay more than the contract price.
Should i get phone through Apple or ATT?

It will not matter. When you go into Apple's store to buy the phone, you will be connected to the AT&T account pages. It is really six of one or one half dozen of the other. The phone will cost the same either way.
When I get mine, I will more than likely go into the Apple store and getting it there for the instant gratification.
