Should I be worried my MBP was made in China

I'd rather have an electronic item made in China rather than the US or UK.

It doesn't matter if it is made in China, US, Australia, etc... it will still do what you want it to do because you spent the money on a Mac... and we all know Macs are made with a quality hardware design.

It doesn't matter if it is made in China, US, Australia, etc... it will still do what you want it to do because you spent the money on a Mac... and we all know Macs are made with a quality hardware design.

The design is important, that's true, but the production needs to follow the design and component standards. If it doesn't, the product won't be up to par. That's why Quality Control is so important, throughout the production - to check all the products, components and processes against the standards.

I think Apple's people must be involved in the QC process... to guarantee a decent product!
