i have a bash profile that i would like to use (.bashrc file) but i can't get terminal to load it as default :(
does anyone know of a workaround for this?

Create a file called ~/.bash_profile like so:

#==========================
#
#  $HOME/.bash_profile
#
#==========================

source $HOME/.bashrc
and then relaunch Terminal.app or open a new Terminal window.
