Unless I'm going somewhere fancy I shave with an electric on my way to work. I'm super lazy... I have an electric in my car, a Fusion at home, a Fusion at work, and an electric at work. All of them get used, it really depends on which is most convenient.

I still have mine, as well. It's just good business on their end. Think of all the money you've spent on those expensive blades over the years! Sneaky, Gillette... sneaky indeed.

The replacement blades are expensive!

For just day to day quick shaving I use a Remington Electric but for going out on the town I use a Fusion. It shaves me better and closer than anything else I have tried to date.

I shave my face and head once every other week or so, usually when the itch from growth on my face starts to bug me. I occasionally let the hair on my head grow out a bit and then shave it back off. I keep my goatee trimmed fairly neat as well.

Shaving doesn't bother me much, I don't do it in the shower. It usually takes me 10 to 15 Min to my face and head. I've been using the Mach 3 for a few years now and have found (via a head shaving forum) that using baby oil gives the closest shave on my head itself, although not on my face. I've never had much luck with electric razors.

Like most, I also do not enjoy shaving. I usually only use a beard trimmer once or twice a week to keep all of my facial hair short. Fortunately it grows pretty slow and my hair isn't too dark, so I can get away with it. I'll clean myself up nice and good for an event I consider important, though. When that happens, I shave using a real razor (after I trim first). My real razor is a Gillette thingy that has like 900 blades per cartridge, all of which vibrate at different frequencies, apply some sort of gel and massage my face. This all somehow gives me an even closer shave which somehow attracts hot ladies. If my razor only had a wimpy 3 blades, the hot ladies obviously would not be all over me. :p

To be quite honest, I enjoy shaving with a real blade. It's the trimming and shortening I have to to first in order to get the hair short enough to shave that I really, really don't like.

Well I do enjoy shaving tbh. Makes me feel clean and fresh afterwards and ready to get a good start of the day.

After a hot shower I use a Fusion and then cold water and after shave balm.

Yep, sorry nukemm, can't call that lazy at all. Lazy is when you get around to it maybe a couple of days or a week after you should have, not 30 minutes or an hour. I went about 20 years without a shave, or haircut for that matter. That's lazy.

I'm lazy, keep a mustache and goatee. That part of my face has been shaved twice in my life. Shave the rest once every week or two. Not in any hurry. Trim the beard once every month or two. After 15 years of getting haircuts now, still hate spending my money on that, so may get around to that 3 or 4 times a year. Don't do any of 'em until it starts looking pretty scraggly even to me.

Us old hippies, never really got into the 'trying to impress' anyone.

I usually shave about every other day or so, assuming I have to be at work. I use a Gillette Mach 3 turbo and do while I am in shower.

My first g/f didn't shave her legs. (She was kind of a hippy) I got used to it after awhile. Shaved legs are a lot less itchy and a lot more fun. :)

I'm still using the same Gillette Sensor Excel I bought when I first started shaving 14 years ago! (not the blade, of course) I tried electric razors, but they just don't get as close, and I like having the closest shave possible. I don't see the advantage of electric anyway. It takes me just as long either way. I also don't like to go a day without shaving.

The new 3-blade razors for the Excel are awesome! The old 2-blades didn't last me a week, but the 3-blades last me forever. I decided to see how long I could use one without changing last June, and I just finally changed the blade on New Years! I could probably have continued using it, but it started falling off the handle and the rubber edges were pretty worn off.

Yeap. I have an hour and a half drive to work every day, and the first hour of it is traffic-free, so I shave once I get on the state highway and don't have to shift gears all the time (after about 20 minutes into my drive).

I've always wanted a good ol' straight-razor, hot-towel barber shave, in a real barber shop — not a "stylist" shoppe — with huge, old reclining chairs with ashtrays in the handles and razor strops hanging from them, and tattered Police Gazettes in magazine stands, though the Police Gazettes aren't mandatory. A cigar might be, though.

But I'm afraid that while I'm reclined in the huge chair with a hot towel on my face, a Hudson Super Six will screech to a stop at the curb, and two guys wearing double-breasted suits, wide ties and spats will jump out, run inside the barber shop and shoot me with two Tommy guns.

So I've never done it.

I shave twice a week with a cuthroat and any old shaving foam my dad buys.
I find normal razors give me shaving rash, honed using a cuthroat, gives a brilliant shave and i'd recommend it.

I get itchy if i don't shave, only ever happened since i cut my beard off.

Over the years I've used various types and brands of razors, including electrics from both Braun and Norelco. I have to say that the best shaves I've had have been from the newer multi-blade razors. But I've also maintained a beard since 1989, and have kept it trimmed using various types of beard trimmers. Currently, the routine of choice is to use the Remington Titanium Trimmer every morning to keep the shape right, and a Gillette Fusion every other morning, with an aloe shaving gel. I swap blades about every 5th shave, as I love the feel of a sharp new blade.

But if you want a laugh, check out this razor ad: http://www.shaveeverywhere.com/ - click on the Body link on the lower right of the page, although the initial ad is funny, too!
