I maintain a 150GB library of Apple Lossless, and about 20,000 MP3s on a external hard drive attached to my old G4. I leave that set up in my home office attached to the network.
I use my MBP with optical out in my great room to play my whole collection via iTunes Sharing. I painstakingly organized all the correct album artwork, and many of the lyrics. It sure would be nice to benefit from all the beautiful artwork on the remote side.
Is there a better way of doing this? I love browsing through the artwork-
Also has anybody uncovered a work around to the Nazi-ish blocking of auto-lyrics downloaders in the latest rev of iTunes. SingThatTune was one of my favorite widgets, to be able to sit and grab the lyrics to enjoy, and have them automatically dumped into the info of the track was the best.
