setting nvram variables

Hello, I have an early iMac G5. When I pass nvram -p I get the expected output. The question I have is about a line that says oem-logo? false. What will happen If I change this to true and how do I do it and is it even possible? Also, I am not sure I am asking in the right sub forum so mods, please move as neccessary.
