Sent mail going to trash multiple times

I send my mail through AOL, it says sent in sent file, also goes to trash 10 times or more. I am using iMac Yosemite 10.10.2

Did you sent too much email at a time? If so, sometimes this problem may happen. Contact your service provider if you have any software to send email.
