My wife has suddenly started to get the following security warning when she tries to print any file from Notes, Pages, or Numbers on our Epson XP-7100.
When she presses Continue button, the warning goes away, but the file doesn’t print.

She runs IOS 17.5, Pages 14.0, Numbers 14.0) on her iPhone 14. I run the same versions on an iPhone SE and have not been having any problems. Both her iPhone and the printer are several years old, and she has not had any problems before.

I have tried rebooting both her phone, the printer, and the router, and that hasn’t helped. Any ideas?

How are you connecting to the printer? This might be related to using AirPrint. Can you try using WiFi if the printer supports it?

I get a similar message when I access my HP Envy's web based settings page, I just ignore mine.

I agree with Razor edge, if the printer accepts Bluetooth I'd try that. I have a HP Envy in Australia that is easily 6 years old and it works well on Bluetooth.
If you are already using BT try removing the device from BT devices on the phone and re pairing to the phone.

Sorry. Yes, it is an air printer. I don't know if that's bluetooth or not, but the printer does not have an explicit setting for bluetooth.

Perhaps this article may help:

I stand corrected on my previous post, I use the WiFi Direct method described in the article which I found to be more reliable than AirPrint. When I want to print anything I use the Share button and select the printer from the drop down menu.
The instructions for this were also in in the printer manual. My Hp has a screen display which made it pretty easy to set up, not sure about your model but the above article has instructions for both.
