screenshot not working from command shift 5

Hi I am running Mojave on my new Mac screenshot is not working from keyboard command shift 5 any ideas folks

The proper keys are: Shift Command 5 in order to bring up the screenshot menu in Mojave. It should appear at the bottom of your screen right over the dock.

Shift+Command+5 NOT Command Shift 5. Okay?

thanks chscag the problem was it only works from main keyboard not the number keypad

To do it just a little different use command-shift-4, does basically the same thing just a bit different . Works fine on my Mojave system.
