Screensaver not starting/working intermittently OSX 10.5.9

Hi,

I'm running Mavericks 10.5.9 on a md-2010 iMac. Since I've installed Mavericks, the screensaver launches intermittently, or not at all. Does anyone have a fix for this? I have the hot corners set, but I'd rather the screensaver start its;f after the 20 minute period of inactivity I've set.

Which screen savers are you using? If you have screen savers from a previous version of OS X, they may not work correctly or at all with Mavericks. I have several that no longer work.
