Screen sharing option for 10.6.8

I don't want to get into why I should change to a newer operating system...
I just want to know if there is a platform that still works to share screens between two machines running 10.6.8. I would consider a peer to peer VPN for local screen share if anyone knows of one that works on 10.6.8.
