The clostst thing to a blue screen of death (BSOD) on mac is the Spinning Beachball of Death (SBOD). Anagrams of each other haha!
Anyways honestly I haven't seen or heard of it occuring past 10.2 So you can rest assured your mac will be very stable indeed.
