I'm running Mavericks, but I presume ⌘⇧3 still works?

Snapz Pro X does not work with Yosemite. They have been aware of the problem since the first beta of Yosemite and have yet to come out with an update for it.
My guess - it is dead with no updates in well over 2 years at this time.
There are a couple of alternatives mentioned in the comment section here.

I use Screen Capture Tool Pro for that - seems OK, and info page mentions update for Yosemite ...

The default print screen function should work fine even after the updates. However, if it fails to work, you can use Snagit, Jing, and Free Online Screenshot. All of these apps were design to fit Mac OS so incompatibility is not an issue.
