My friend lets me connect to his network with a hidden SSID. I want to automatically connect to this network, but because it is not shown in the AirPort panel I cannot. When we showed the network, the password was saved and I was able to automatically connect. I am running Mac 10.4.11. Has anyone found a way to bypass this? Any insight? Thanks.

Click on the Airport icon in the menu bar, choose Join Other Network and type the SSID and pw in.

I have mine hidden and it's able to reconnect, so I know that it can remember the password for you. However I don't connect to other wireless networks, so I don't know if it would forget when connecting to other networks.
