When I try to save files weather it's song, word doc whatever it only gives me a few options (my home, documents, desktop, etc) My home folder is named 'GARY'. I was working on school work and i wanted to save it to a folder within 'GARY. i wanted it to go to:

GARY -> ASHFORD UNIV -> PSY 202

But only GARY would show up and i couldn't pick folders within it from the drop down menu. So i had to save to the desktop, it wasn't that big of a deal but that could get old...quick. Is there a way to fix this, maybe a setting somewhere

thanks everyone.

When you are in the "Save As" dialog box do you see an option near the bottom that says "New Folder". If you don't this means the dialog is not fully expanded. You can expand the box by clicking the error just to the right of where you enter the filename. with the box expanded you should be able to place the file anywhere you like.
