Samsung 4K Monitor Grainy Text

Hey Guys, picked up one of the Samsung U28D590D 4K monitors for use with my 5K iMac and can't seem to get the fonts to look crisp at native resolution.

I've tried a bunch of things already like, Shut off font smoothing, creating an RGB override. nothing seems to help.

The text is decent at 1920x1080 and even 2560x1440 is OK but anything higher and looks terrible.

Anyone else have this monitor and are you seeing the same result at full 4k?
