Safari freezing

Safari keeps freezing on my MacBook Pro. Well, it's not only Safari as Firefox and Chrome do the same. I can view most web pages but anything with video in or things like Facebook Chat freeze it and I have to Force Quit. Any idea what I can do, as it never used to. Only started last week.

I don't unfortunately. I really can't understand it and it's annoying me so much. It only started a week ago, I can't work out what's brought it on.

All my browser problems disappeared the minute I downloaded and installed the FREE ClickToFlash program. What a godsend!

Thanks, 6string, but I would like to try and not have to send my computer off, if possible.

I installed ClickToFlash, but it didn't do the trick. How do I get rid of it?

Anytime you see ClickToFlash blocking Flash content, right click it and select "ClickToFlash Preferences...". In the preferences window, click the "Remove ClickToFlash" button at the bottom.

Thanks. Still haven't sorted my problems regarding video/chat. Any other ideas?

Hhmmm. Trouble is, I click Preferences and nothing happens. Weird.
