Safari Crashing

My daughter recently updated her Macbook Air to the latest version of Yosemite OS and now the Safari app will not open. It only shows an error report stating Safari quit unexpectedly. Any thoughts?

Safari should have been updated when she updated to Yosemite. Can you verify which version of Safari is on the MacBook Air?

You should also be given the option to report the details to Apple which will subsequently provide you with an error message. Can you post that here for us when this happens?
