Strange thing happening in Safari: suddenly cannot select any text, either on any web page or in the address bar, viz:
double click a word: nothing -- no selection
click drag, shift drag: ditto
This just started happening in Safari. reboot: same. Checked pref’s, couldn’t find anything that would cause this. Like right here in this message, I cannot select any text. If I want to edit, I have to place the cursor and use forward or back delete.
Switch to Chrome, selection via double clicking or click-and-drag works as usual.
Anybody know what’s wrong here? This is annoying -- if I can’t fix it, I’ll have to switch to Chrome permanently...
