Safari may have won plaudits for its speediness, but glitches in version 1.0, the first non-beta release, is causing major headaches for some web developers and users.
'Part of the problem is Safari's over-ambitious caching,' said Derek Cohen, CEO of UK online survey provider, Demographix. Caching is used by Web browsers to store graphical elements from a downloaded page locally, so that a revisited page can be rendered more quickly.
