Does anyone know if its possible to import your whole music library into itunes from an external drive so it doesn't take up space on your main hard drive? I want to run my music library from an external drive so it does not take up space on my main hard drive.

yap, works. Had it on my iBook, b/c it only has a 30 gig HD. Just make sure that your iTunes settings are set that you manage your lib yourself or configure your music folder to your external disk. that's all...

Would I be right in thinking, that once you have point you Itunes to your external HD (or NAS) you then need to tell it too ADD FOLDER so that it syncs?

And, if I then add an album to that directory will it sync automatically, or do you need to Add Folder for that album too?

Thanks
