The above was posted in MacRumors. Removing Rosetta 2 from Big Sur 11.3 would be a real blow to the future of the M1. Not all developers are going to immediately jump on that band wagon and port their apps to the new ARM format.

We don't know which regions this will apply to, and it may be because of certain local restrictions. Anyway here is the full article:

Wow.

Holding out for the M1 iMacs later this year but this will put it in doubt.

We’ll have to wait and see what Apple mean by regions but could it be partly bluff to encourage developers to recompile for the new chipset?

And Apple has not said anything, nor has the beta actually removed Rosetta. Somebody found a line in the beta code and from that jumped to the conclusion that Apple was going to immediately kill Rosetta2. I don't really see any reason to panic at this point.
