I have a macbook pro with windows installed on it and id like to be able to right click without pushing the clicking the touchpad down. The only way i know of is to place 2 fingers on it and click with a 3rd finger.

Is there any software around that will allow me to tap rather than click- thus making less noise and making it quicker at the same time. Im used to just tapping it so keep doing that then realising i need to click, getting really annoying :D

I don't have the button-less trackpad on my MacBook Pro, but with the settings that are available to me in the Boot Camp Control Panel applet, I can enable two-fingered tapping for right-click.

Have you checked those settings?

Ok ive got the right click to work, by pressing the touchpad on the right corner. However when i do this not only does it bring up the right click menu bit but it also clicks it. So its pretty much right AND left clicking at the same time which as you can imagine can get incredibly frustrating.

Anyone know why or have any possible fixes for this?

Under 2fingers enable 2finger tap you do not need to physically click the pad.

Bluetooth travel mouse. I don't use Windows anymore but would imagine that the limitations set here are those imposed by the OS you've booted into. The Mac's track pad multi touch abilities I'm sure, were meant to work solely with OS X. After all, that's part of what makes OS X special. If you want a real fix, petition Microsoft and ask for better support.

See my above answer. He is using it with Windows.

Edit: And if I'm wrong, forgive me. But it just makes sense.
