Retrieving deleted video

We're going to need a bit more details. Exactly how was the video deleted (using Finder, within iMovie etc)? Has the trash been emptied? BTW Which Mac model and OS are involved/

It is an iPad Air iOS 7, was in photos along with 2 photos of the same event and a 1second video that I deleted. I am sure I did not select the good video to be deleted because it was a very good one. I do not know how to access the trash because it only shows up light gray and does not give me an option to open it.

Appreciate any help. Thanks!

Try selecting the 'Albums' icon and look for 'Recently Deleted'. That's in iOS 8, don't remember if iOS7 created that album or not.

Yes I did check that. There were a few photos, but no videos.
