resizing photos to send as attachments on email

Again thanks. It works exactly as you said, only I did not have the resize double arrows on my toolbox menu. I added it. Being new to using Preview, I put text under the icons. The toolbox is actually called markup, but it does look like a toolbox so I knew what you meant. I know now, that once I open an image in Preview all I have to do after opening the toolbox menu is to click the resize icon (double diagonal arrows) to resize my image. Easy when you know how. Going to Preview> Tools> resize does the same thing.
After having success selling my car the first time I used craigslist, I will be taking more pics and cropping and resizing as I go.
Read the comments from the Med students on the Preview problems in version 8.0, which I have. To be honest, most of what they do with Preview is way over my head. Many icons in my dock. Many, like Preview, I have never used. Most, I doubt I will ever use. But, if I ever have other problems using something Im not familiar with, or even something I have a little understanding of, guys like you are available to help. Pete C

Hi Bill - you simply view a post by another member, such as Chas-m in this particular thread, then if you select the reputation icon, you can increase their reputation (BUT again if you've already done it recently then the 'spread it around...' notification will appear) - as you pass the reputations around, you can then return and see if now you can give out further reputation - again, I do not know the rules.
