I was just looking through my MBP info and see loads of things under Software -> Startup Items that I dont have installed any more.

How do I get rid of them? Might make my super quick startup even quicker lol

Thanks

Go to system Preferance choose accounts then "login items" then you can either uncheck or delete them from there

Sorry I should have made myself clearer.. these items aren't in my login items. They are programs I have installed to test that have things that load on startup. I've removed the programs but these bits have been left behind.

Just look in Spotlight for the names of the files you see in the Start Up Items to drag them to the trash. If these files are invisible, use MainMenu to make them visible and navigate to them and drag them to the trash. Restart and then empty the trash using Secure Empty Trash instead of the usual Empty Trash.
