remove flash drive told to close finder.

tried to remove lexar flash drive, said couldn't be ejected because finder is using it.
I've used and closed these things before and they closed.

2011 27" iMac, 1TB(partitioned) SSD, 20GB, OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan
If everything appears to be closed, then there's probably an expanded image from a .dmg installer on the flash drive sitting on the desktop that needs to be ejected, 'cause the Finder is using it.

Right-click -> Eject on the "package image" should fix your problem.
