Message: <blockquote data-quote="dcow" data-source="post: 1000543" data-attributes="member: 139944"><p>Sounds like one of the macs with the bad run of NVIDIA cards.  I recommend contacting Apple Support and they might be as nice as to replace it for you free of charge.  I have a friend who had a very similar issue and I think Apple Support is the best way to go with this one.  There's not much we can do for you here other than to tell you to reinstall and let us know if you are still having the problem.  If so then we would tell you to call Apple.  Even if Apple would charge you for repair, it's a lot cheaper than getting a whole new system.  (oh, and if they replace your Macbook they MIGHT even give you a new version -- happened to my friend).</p></blockquote><p></p>
