Rearrange Status Bar Icons?

Hello,
I am running Yosemite on a MBP.

Is it possible to reorder the icons on the Status Bar? (the icons on the upper right of the screen). I would like easy access to one of the icons and it would be nice to have it displayed on the left of the row...

You can re-arrange the system ones by holding down Command and then click and holding. Third party apps...not so much (I'd love to be proven wrong however).

Thanks. It only works on system ones here too. I was hoping to move the 3rd party ones
