Quicken for Mac 2007 suddenly loses register entries

Every once in a while I will close Quicken, and when I open it back up all of my entries between March of 2005 to present in my Cash Journal are completely gone! No other registers are affected. I try to go back to the backup from the last time I closed it, but they are missing in the backup as well. I typically have to go back a day or 2 to find a backup with all the missing entries intact. However, then I have to re-enter all my entries from the last 1-2 days. This is getting beyond frustrating. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks!

Stop using Quicken. No, seriously, their Mac support has always been an afterthought. Just stop using it.

Quicken

Lifeisabeach,

I wish I could, but that isn't an option for me, so I am looking for any fix or workaround I can find. Maybe a way to force it to rebuild the directories? Or make a copy of just the corrupt register?

Administrator,

I didn't double post, I was simply following your forum's instructions. When I first tried to post, it told me there was an error and to try again or contact the administrator. I opted to try again, and it went through with no error. Additionally, I received only ONE email confirmation of my post, so I had no reason to believe that the post with the error had also gone through.
