Quick way to rename iPod songs?

I have tons of songs on my iPod that are in these two formats:

(Song Artist) Song
[Song Artist] Song

Is their a way (apple script or something else) that would remove the brackets/parentheses, take what was inside the brackets/parentheses make it the artist area, and then take the rest and make it the song title?

Something like THIS but that will allow me to remove the brackets/parentheses and put the second word as the song title.
