Hi guys,
I have recently had my MacBook Pro away for repair and before I sent it off, I backed everything up with Time Machine and deleted the contents of my hard drive. I'm currently on OS 10.5.8, which is the version of the OS that the hard drive was backed up on. Now I have my computer back I want to install the Snow Leopard disc I've had for a few weeks.
My question is - should I restore everything from Time Machine and then upgrade to Snow Leopard, or vice versa? I wanted a clean install of the new OS but I don't want to lose any data or find I'm unable to restore my data because it was backed up on an earlier version of the OS.
Thanks!
