I have a question about installing Windows OS on my Macbook Pro in order to dual boot. Is there a way to share files between the two operating systems by turning on home sharing or something like that? For example, I would like to be able to create a word document in Windows, save it, and open it in iOS at a later time.

You cant put Windows on a device that runs IOS so I'm assuming you meant OS X.
Yes you can share files between the two OS's by using a shared folder. This is assuming you're using Bootcamp to dual boot.
Even using Parallels or another VM it's possible.
