QuarkXpress 8 and OS 10.10.2 Yosemite

I've installed Yosemite on my iMac (2011) and it won't let me install QuarkXpress 8. It tells me "Minimum system required to run the installer is 10.4. I'm at 10.10.2 - why won't it install?

2017 27" iMac, 10.5" iPad Pro, iPhone 8, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 Mini, Numerous iPods, Monterey
Yosemite does not support PPC applications or universal apps that use a PPC installer. The last version of OS X to support PPC applications was Snow Leopard 10.6.8. (QuarkXpress 8 was released in 2008.)
