Hi,

I need to download PuTTY for my MAC since I am in the process of switching over from PC. From the research I did online, it appears that this software is not compatible/does not exist for MACS. Is this so? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Orly

Way... way too many specs to list.
Yes it will. The syntax is...

ssh [email protected]

If you want you can create aliases.. What I do is something like..

echo 'alias sshalias="[email protected]"' >> .profile

./.profile

then type alias and it should show the alias.

I should note that I prefer this method as it is the same in pretty much every *nix operating system.. so it keeps some homogeny in my frail world :D

yes, yes it is.... works fine for restarting daemons, I wouldn't want to do much more though.
