A collection of blurry photos claim to reveal Apple's redesigned Maps application, expected to be a major component of the anticipated iOS 6 update for iPhone and iPad.
As long as the app is frequently updated, I don't care what Apple equips with iOS. I'm still ticked off at Google for not cataloging my street (and my others in my town) for more than three years after Navteq had it on their programs and devices.
Not exactly Dennis. It's only the early MacBooks with integrated graphics that can't run Mountain Lion. That would be from 2006 to early 2008. (One reason why I sold mine while I had the chance to get a good price for it.)
Um, my 2007 Macbook with GMA3100 runs ML Developer just fine. There are easy ways to make it work, it's just apple is locking them out and for no reason I can see. It runs smooth and fast on the machine. It's not like 10.5 Leopard on under 867 Mhz G4 where it was draggy. In fact it seems smoother on that MB than Lion does!
The notes I have read with my copy say the aluminum 2008 MB also. If it was not against the NDA I would do a video of my late 2007 running ML. It's amazingly smooth. All Safari memory bugs are gone.
To me a 2008 MB is not an old machine. It does all I would need a macbook to do and I do a lot. Also have you seen the min machine specs for Windows 8? It will run fine on some quite old hardware! I hate Windows 8 but just saying.
