Problems with Calendar on iOS devices

2 iMacsOSX13.7.2;10.13.6;iPhone SE3 18.4.1;SE2 18.4.1;iPadMini 15.8.4;iPadAir 2 15.8.3
Following installation of Yosemite calendar is only showing data for current month. On both occasions when this has happened I have resolved problem by checking, unchecking and checking default calendar in Settings. What could be cause?
